Green, Green, Green
Whew, I am glad to be done with this one :) I know it doesn't look like it would be very difficult, but it took me quite a few tries to get the three different shades of green. I know it would probably be easier to just buy different shades of each color, but I do think there are some benefits of mixing the colors yourself.
The customer saw the original Butterfly Spots and wanted the same phrase. She requested the shades of green for the background and blue and yellow for the butterfly. I guess the beauty of handmade artwork is that all pieces are unique :) As you can see, the butterfly placement and count is different than that on the Butterfly Spots canvas. The blue on the butterfly was also a challenge for me. I initially mixed a blue, painted it, went to bed...then this morning realized that I was not happy with the color. On my lunch break, I took the canvas home and painted over the original blue. This blue is more of a baby blue...I like it so much better than the first!!
I am enjoying this all so much! I am so grateful to those who have been ordering and I hope that God continues to bless me by this.

The Jeremiah Butterfly
After many hours of work, I completed another order last night! I always love the finished product, but get a little nervous wondering if the customer will be pleased. But my hope is that she will love it :)
I love the way this one turned out. The customer wanted the background to be similar to the Butterfly Spots canvas. Since I mix my own colors, the color shades are a little different, but still share in resemblance.
I have three orders in process now. Once I complete them, I will share them with you :)

Let the Ordering Begin!
The canvases I paint for Clarabelle Designs are unique because you can choose the scripture, quote, color, font, canvas size, etc. for your order. These are not made to order canvases, they are specially made just for you and your loved ones! Soon, I will post different options for font and canvas size...otherwise, the possibilities are endless. As I continue painting, I will post photos of the finished products for you to see. If there is one that you love just the way it is, I would gladly reproduce one for you. I am excited about being a part of your gift-giving, and who knows, you may even want one for yourself!
For now, ordering communication should be made by emailing me at shellytipper83@hotmail.com. Depending on the volume of orders, allow one week for production.
